My Etape Du Tour 2008 Bike

Thought I would add a post about my bike that I will riding in the Etape du Tour 2008 it is a Trek Madone 5.2 Project One road bike.

If I am honest I really don’t have much a clue about bikes but hey,  it’s more than going to be worth the money as the amount of training events we have entered is significant (will keep you posted).  Additionally I hope to attend a few Triathlons if I can fit them in between training and cycle events.

The path to a fit lifestyle begins…

I have started a blog as it seems to be the ‘in’ thing at the moment.  Not sure how much I will update it as I am one faddy guy.  Give me one thing to focus on one day and I will have lost interest the next.   Just to give you a brief introduction I am Jon Sharratt, a simple 23 year old guy living in Warwickshire.  Some say I am excentric some say I am crazy all I know is there is only one of me and I intend to keep on being me.

So what is the deal with this blog, another boring read? proabably….. but I intend to keep track of my personal training goals towards getting a fitter and healthier lifestyle.  So today I have in my ”excentric” way I suppose hired a personal trainer.  She used to be my salsa instructor so we will see how it all turns out but I have high hopes as she seems like she knows what she is doing.  How rude…. let me introduce her properly, her name is Sabine details of who and what she has done can be found at this website:  http://www.beautilicious.com/qualifications.htm - I have paid for 10 sessions and have my first consultation this Thursday.

Why go for a personal trainer? I need a push to keep on top of a regime that is manageable not only for the Etape Du Tour 2008 oh yeh forgot to mention that, just something me and few of the lads and there associates are attending this July.  I think another problem I have is my diet which I do intend to change.  I have been told by Sabine to keep track of my diet so that will be another thing that I will create blog entries on so that I can keep track of this each day feel free to comment.

That pretty much wraps up the basics of this blog and what is currently happening…… stay tuned.
